Bacarella is out of Lacita, a broodmare with an American pedigree who produced six winners, four of which exceeded €100,000 in earnings: El Fuego (€155,110), Uhland (€117,920), Smuggler (€106,040) and Fort Galaa (€101,070).
The 2nd dam is Tolmina (Hadol du Vivier) who placed twice at Group 2 level in mounted races, reaching almost €300,000 in prize money.
