HIVER D'AUTHISE

This 5-year-old Gelding has a personal best kilometer rate of 1'14''5 mounted and 1'15''9 harnessed. This bloodline of French standardbred had always shown versatility in both specialties.

Hiver d'Authise is the 2nd foal out of his dam Saga Piya (John Arifant) who had won both right and left ropes, harnessed and ridden.
Hiver d'Authise will be for sale 15 days before the retirement of his trainer Pascal Geslin. “Hiver d’Authise has shown a lot of consistency in recent months. We were able to remove all of his gear. We also tried him for mounted races and he has potential in this specialty. When he was beaten in Laval, the winner won again afterwards. Hiver d’Authise never had any health issues, he only saw the vet for his vaccinations. He ran well either left or right handed, and he will be a great asset for apprentices’ races later on. He is very easy to train. His brother Gevrey d'Authise had a break this winter but he will do great things once he could make his comeback.
